Religiously, Christmas is celebrated in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.

The Church chose December 25 as Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve is the day before Christmas,it´s very common in Spain and other countries that families gather for dinner.Some families sing Christmas carols at make a toast at midnight.
